REGAIN YOUR INDEPENDENCE
Our Story
After witnessing too many cases where people struggled to regain their physical health after being discharged from the hospital, we decided to start our business. We wanted to provide a solution that would help people recover in the comfort of their own homes, with the help of trained professionals. Our goal was to make the rehabilitation as smooth and stress-free as possible, so that people could focus on their recovery.
An example of an early success story is of a family member who was discharged home from hospital after a fall. She was bedbound with care four times a day and unable to move around on her own. That's when Tom stepped in to provide her with rehab at home. With his help, she was able to regain her strength and mobility, and eventually return to her independent lifestyle.
Seeing the positive impact that Tom's care had on her life was a major inspiration for us to start this business, and we're proud to be able to help others in similar situations.

What should I do if my symptoms worsen or if I have any concerns about my treatment? Our physiotherapists will explain what the natural progression of your condition should be. Sometimes a patient can get sorer – this can occur for many reasons – doing exercises too much, too vigorously, incorrectly or sometimes they may need some advice from their GP/ pharmacist regarding pain medication. Our physiotherapist will answer any questions/ concerns where necessary.
-
What does a Physiotherapy treatment involve?A typical Physiotherapy programme ranges from days to weeks in length or could be longer (often with less frequent visits), depending on the chronicity of the issue and the nature of the treatment programme. Your physiotherapist will determine how often you should be seen for treatment and discuss this with you. Treatment techniques which may be used include: • manual therapy • exercise demonstration and home program development • return to work/ sport/ activity planning • gait analysis and facilitation for optimal movement patterns • balance and co-ordination re-training • education – why did this happen and reduce the chances of it happening again.
-
What is physiotherapy and how can it help me?Physiotherapy is a regulated health profession – all the Physiotherapists are Chartered Physiotherapists.
